Unistik safety lancets are designed to perform punctures quickly and painlessly avoiding the risk of needle sticks once they have been used. Depending on the lancet selected, more or less blood flow will be obtained.
The security lancets are for single use and are retractable, which means that once the puncture is made, the lancet is automatically reintroduced in the housing, avoiding accidental punctures as well as the possibility of infection.
The lancets are available on the following thickness and length:
- 21G – 0.8 mm thick and 1.2 mm long
- 23G - 0.6 mm thick and 1.8 mm long
- 28G - 0.35 mm thick and 1.8 mm long
- 30G - 0.3 mm thick and 1.5 mm long
The lancets suitable for blood ketone analysis are 28G or 30G.
